Here is a game worn jersey and multi-signed spring training bat that was used by Howard Johnson while he was a member of the New York Mets. The pinstriped Rawlings size 46 jersey is in prime condition with virtually no evidence of game usage and only negligible surface marks on the front and reverse. The stitching and lettering is tight and intact and is also absent the wash tags. Also present is a multi-signed Howard Johnson game used bat that was used during spring training. The approximately 31 oz./33-1/4 Louisville Slugger model 125 P89 shows extensive game usage with moderate nicks, abrasions, ball, cleat and bat rack markings along with a 7 crack that spans the back barrel. The handle shows minimal pine tar while the knob is marked in black sharpie. The blue sharpie signatures (mostly 9-10) include (16) signatures that date from 1987-1989 and is highlighted by Dykstra, Hernandez and D. Johnson. The signatures on the bat come with a COA from James Spence Authentications.
