Presented is a game-used bat from Orioles legend and Hall of Famer, Cal Ripken Jr. This lumber has been evaluated by third party authenticator PSA/DNA as a ("GU 7"). The black ash Louisville Slugger model P72 is a gorgeous relic from the “Iron Man”. With dimensions of 35”/32.8 ounces and dating from 1991-1997, the professional model bat is uncracked and exhibits “outstanding use,” including moderate grain separation from repeated ball contact on the back barrel. Several ball and stitch markings, cleat indentations, and a light coat of pine tar are also evident. The knob reveals Ripken’s uniform number 8 in silver marker, while an autograph of the same color graces the right barrel (“8”). Full LOA on the bat from PSA/DNA. The signature on this beautiful gamer comes with a COA from James Spence Authentications.
