Among the scarcest and most valuable of all Exhibit issues is the offered 1925 Exhibit Champions Babe Ruth. Although the date of this card is speculative, Ruth’s status as “World’s Champion Baseball Player” is confirmed. This blank-backed rarity grades in the (FR-GD) range with extensive corner and edge wear, a pair of surface creases, soiling on the front and reverse, along with some writing. Despite those flaws, the enduring image of Ruth following through on his deadly swing is impressive. For the Ruth fan, this difficult 1920s example is about as good as it can get.
