Description

Frank “Home Run” Baker, the cornerstone of Connie Mack's $100,000 Infield, is the inspiration behind this incredible full-size Louisville Slugger decal bat. Centered on the barrel of this lumber is a vibrant multi-colored decal that has remained almost completely intact. This circa 1912 club has dimensions of 33oz./34” and displays moderate wear throughout and includes an impressed “X” on the knob. This stick also features a Louisville Slugger 40 FB center brand, and the all-important decal is absolutely stunning. Measuring 6” across and 4” top-to-bottom, the decal shows "Good Night Baker" directly above his image, which refers to his 1911 World Series performance. Surrounding the portrait of Baker is the phrase ”Uses the Louisville Slugger Bat Exclusively, World’s Championship Model.” Directly beneath the image of Baker are a facsimile signature and the trademark information. This bat is a beautiful display item with one of the original “sluggers” in the game.
