Presented is a very sharp 1927 Exhibit card of Henry Louis Gehrig that has been graded a SGC 70. This blue-tinted postcard is crease-free and presents better than the technical grade would suggest. The back of the exhibit is clean with minimal print and ink markings that are commonly found on early Exhibits. Although still in the shadow of Babe Ruth during the famous 1927 campaign, Gehrig was emerging as one of the game’s premier hitter and well on his way to immortality. This attractive card is among the highest graded Exhibits for Gehrig during his early years.
