The offered 1953 Red Man sealed tobacco package with an original Ted Kluszewski showing is a magnificent survivor from the “golden age of baseball”. This “20 cent” pouch is sealed by the period tax stamp and is surrounded by a thin piece of vintage cellophane. Only the top portion of the cellophane exhibits any wear or tearing. On the reverse of the package is the NL #6 card of Ted “Klu” Kluszewski. The surface of the card is wavy is due to the tobacco drying out and being reconstituted with the package. Otherwise, the immaculate Kluszewski grades in the (NM) range with razor-sharp corners and astounding color. Whether one is a tobacciana, sports card or Americana enthusiast, this Red Man package is certain to please.
