Presented is a road jersey worn by Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan during his first season with the Rangers in 1989. This grey Rawlings jersey is embroidered with letters and numbers in double tackle twill and features Texas across the chest, along with Ryan and 34 on the reverse side. This piece is distinguished from other known Ryan worn jerseys in that it has a unique 36” torso and is customized with a +4” “Extra Length,” with the latter detail being indicated on the Rawlings sewn tag on the bottom right of the uniform. This jersey shows light game wear throughout the body and around the collar. Extensive statistical research and photographic evidence have been collected by MEARS to support the authenticity of this item. Graded: MEARS A8.
