Presented is a group of signed items from baseball’s “Iron Man”, Cal Ripken Jr. Unless noted, each item is signed in blue or black ink. Included are 1.) dual-signed 24x20 Ripken Jr. and Brooks Robinson framed Tony Capparelli print. “A Tradition of Excellence” is serially numbered to 5000, with both signatures grading (“10”); 2.) dual-signed 20x16 Ripken Jr. and Nolan Ryan framed and matted photograph. “Legends of Baseball” is serially numbered to 2000, with both autographs boasting a (“10”) signature strength; 3.) triple-signed 14x11 Ripken Jr./Ripken Sr. (d.1999)/B. Ripken framed photograph. The signatures from this baseball family all grade in the (“7-8”) range; 4.) single-signed 16x20 glossy photograph with a (“10”) strength; 5.) single-signed 26-1/2 x 38-1/2 “Cal Ripken Jr. at the Babe Ruth Museum” advertising poster. The autograph on this framed piece has an (“8”) signature quality. Artist Rubin also signed the piece; 6.) single-signed black Rawlings Adirondack commemorative 1991 All-Star Game bat. This (“10”) signature is penned on the barrel in gold ink with a tough “MVP” inscription. The knob also has Ripken’s uniform #8 in gold; 7.) single-signed blonde Cooperstown Collection Stadium II bat. The autograph on this lumber is also placed on the barrel with the signature grading an (“8”); 8.) triple-signed Ripken Jr./Ripken Sr./B. Ripken retro Orioles cap. These autographs are signed on the orange bill of the size 7-3/8 New Era “smiling bird” hat with each penning grading an (“8”); 9.) single-signed Ripken Jr. Orioles replica jersey. This Russell Athletic size 48 uniform apparel is signed directly below the front numbers grading an (“8”); 10.) single-signed 5/91 Beckett Baseball Card Monthly cover.
