Even though we live in the Information Age, little is known about the 1955 Felin's Franks series, arguably the most elusive of all the Fifties "hot dog" issues. The scarcity of this issue is evident when even industry sources cannot pinpoint the exact origin of distribution. Very few examples from this Philadelphia-based series have surfaced, and when they have, most are crudely cut and in lower grade. Presented is a monumental exemplar for the 1955 Felin’s Frank, a complete panel of #10 John Meyer. This full panel measures 4-1/2 x 3-5/8”, and other than the factory-issued light wax coating, this example is in (EX) condition. The round-cornered card has a red border and image of Meyer with the 1954 statistics of a second player on the right hand portion of the piece. The reverse is also presents (EX) and displays the “Official Rules” and available prizes for matching the players and their statistics.
