Description

With (70) examples from the two most popular boxing sets of the era, the presented lot features (7) 1948 Leaf and (63) 1951 Topps Ringside cards. The Leaf specimens, which grade (VG-EX) with the exception of #18 (VG) and #19 Kid Chocolate (GD), also include #3 Leonard, #13 Jack, #15 Zale, #63 and #69 Willard. The Topps Ringside issues are aesthetically pleasing with about 33% of the lot grading EX-MT or better. Many of the remaining cards look solid, though varying degrees of centering imperfections as well as rubber-band marks of various strengths can be seen. Highlights include #32 Marciano (GD due to small edge tear though looks better), #34 Robinson vs. Servo (VG-EX), #49 Murphy (VG-EX), #85 Walcott vs. Charles (VG-EX), #86 Eagle (EX-MT), #88 Louis (EX-MT) and #96 Charles (VG-EX). Please visit our website for a complete list of the remaining cards in this lot.

The remaining cards in the Ringside lot include:
