Legendary Negro Leaguer and Hall of Famer Leon Day (d.1995) signed and inscribed each of these sixteen Official League baseballs. All of the baseballs have been penned in blue ballpoint across the sweet spots, featuring signatures with an aggregate grade of (8-9) on baseballs that average better than (8). Included within the lot are (5) Brown OALs with HOF inscriptions, (5) White ONLs with HOF inscriptions and (6) White ONLs with 1934-1954 inscriptions. Note: Hall of Fame inscriptions for Leon are extremely rare as he passed only a few weeks after he was inducted. Accompanied by a COA from James Spence Authentications, this impressive grouping will beautifully adorn any collection.
