Offered is a Hall of Fame pair of bats, a 1984 M253 Joe Morgan game-ready bat (PSA/DNA GU 5) and a 1986-1989 M272 model Eddie Murray game-used bat (PSA/DNA GU 6). The Morgan flame-burned finish M253 model bat from his final professional season weighs 31.6 ounces and measures 34 inches. The model number has been etched above Morgan’s facsimile signature, and his jersey number is written in black sharpie on the knob. The bat most likely traveled around, as it shows a few light spots of dirt and some slight weathering. Murray’s M272 bat measures 35.5 inches, weighs 35.7 ounces and shows significant game usage with a crack and grain separation on the back barrel from repeated use. Several ball and stitch marks are present on the right, left and back barrel along with green, black and blue bat rack streaks all over the bat. The handle has been scored for grip and maintains a moderate coat of pine tar on the mid-handle. Murray’s jersey number (33) is written on the knob in black sharpie with an orange outline. Both of these outstanding pieces come with full LOA from PSA/DNA.
