If there is one image that personifies the legendary Louisville Lip, it must be the one displaying a maniacal Ali taunting the fallen Sonny Liston during their 1965 Championship rematch. This threesome of single-signed 16x20 black and white photographs gloriously displays the victorious Ali and all of his known signature variations. Gracing these images in gold sharpie are Clay (“6”), Ali (large letter, “9”) and Ali (small letter, “7”). Such variants are rarely seen and, with the ravages of Parkinson’s, are obviously limited in quantity. These signatures from “The Greatest” come with an auction COA from James Spence Authentications.
