Jim “Kitty” Kaat was a crafty southpaw with great athletic ability, which helped him log an impressive 283 wins and 16 straight Gold Glove Awards while slugging 16 career home runs. Kaat was on several league championship teams and won his only World Series ring with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1982, pitching out of the pen at the age of 43. Presented is a beautiful white ash Louisville Slugger baseball bat from the three-time All-Star. The bat measures 35” and weights 29.6 ounces with light pine tar residue near the handle of the lumber. This Louisville Slugger has a 5” area of checking on the reverse of the barrel with several moderate ball and rack marks. This H&B Kaat signature 016 model bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA.
