As a player-representative to the MLBPA, Gil Hodges occasionally contacted then-director Frank Scott, whether it be regarding policy, referendum, nominations or what not. Presented is a beautiful hand-written letter from Gil Hodges (d.1972, 9-10) directed to Mr. Scott. Written in blue ballpoint the letter, which pertains to All-Star player fees, has been boldly signed by Hodges and neatly framed and matted to 12x19 encapsulated with the original payment slip from the Dodgers. Amongst the cleanest of Hodges signatures offered, this impressive display is accompanied by a COA from James Spence Authentications.
