Description

Presented is a group of nineteen 1980s and 1990s game-used bats from various players on the Minnesota Twins lineup. The highlight pieces include a Paul Molitor H176 (31.8oz/33.75”) dark wood bat and a Kirby Puckett R161 model bat (31oz/34.25”, 25 on knob); both showing extensive game usage cracks. Both the Molitor and Puckett bats are the right model for each player but have different numbers on the handles meaning they were used by other players. Other Louisville Slugger (unless noted) game-used bats include Don Baylor Cooper Pro R161 (31.8oz/34.75”), Tom Brunansky C243 (31.6oz/34”), Randy Bush R161 (32.4oz/34”), Sal Butera C243 (31oz/33”), Mark Davidson C243 (31.2oz/33.5”), Gary Gaetti M159 (30.4oz/34.25”), Greg Gagne S2 (30.4oz/33.75”), Dan Gladden R161 (31.6oz/33”), K.F. Landreaux S2 (31.2oz/34.5”, signed), Gene Larkin P72 (30.6oz/33.75”), Tim Laudner S2 (29.6oz/34”), Steve Lombardozzi C271 (31.2oz/33.75”), Al Newman R161 (28.6oz/32.75”) and Roy Smalley M159 (29.6oz/34.25”). Also included is a generic Twins Louisville Slugger (used) and a “Pitchers” S2 bat (31.4oz/33.75”, 15 on knob) and a black 1987 Twins Championship team commemorative Louisville Slugger (unused). These game-used bats reveal moderate to extensive game usage (cracks, ball indents, rack markings, etc.), and most contain player numbers in marker on the knobs and/or barrels. Many of the bats have been tarred or taped on the handles for increased grip. For more extensive bat descriptions, please visit our website. The Molitor and Puckett bats come with a COA from PSA/DNA.
