Description

The 1936-1937 R60 Gum Inc. G-Men: Heroes of the Law issue is an extremely difficult set to complete because it includes numerous short prints and the company used to release only a portion of the known existing card numbers. Presented is a great base of (106) cards from this quirky issue of policemen, villains, gangsters and other heroic law abiding citizens. The scarce high number release cards of #185 (GD), #196 (GD/VG), #266 (GD), #269 (VG-EX), #275 (VG), #311 (PR), #349 (GD), #397 (VG), #451 (PR) are included, and the composite breakdown for the remaining cards is 15% (VG-EX or better), 35% (VG) and 50% (GD to PR). Also included are (31) 1940s R13-2 American G-Men cards (mostly GD to PR) that closely resemble the original series.
