Description

Marking consecutive American League Championships and maybe the apex of the Senators history, the presented lot is highlighted by their first two World Series programs dating to 1924 and 1925. The elder example shows several repairs and stray ink on the front, though the pages remain well bound with many interior photos to be found. Like its counterpart, the 1925 example shows repairs and is unused. While complete, it should be noted all of the pages of the off-grade issue are detached from the spine. Nonetheless, there are many solid pages within featuring an array of team photos. The lot also contains a 1937 Griffith Stadium All-Star program (detached cover), 1964 pocket schedule and a scored 1971 final season game program. With a trio of very tough programs and a few extras sprinkled in, this Washingtonian lot will undoubtedly appease the hometown collectors.
