The light-hitting Claude Corbitt presides on this 1948 Cincinnati Reds game-used flannel away jersey. The gray button-front uniform reveals moderate game usage and is absent of any significant repairs. The MacGregor Goldsmith size 42 tag is tightly affixed to the collar, while Cincinnati is spelled in individually sewn letters across the front. The utility infielder’s #14 is stitched in red on a tag directly beneath the manufacturer identification on the collar. The jersey exhibits consistent wear throughout, including moderate soiling, staining, a miniscule burn and other wear on the reverse jersey number. One of the original buttons appears to have been restored but does not detract from the comely visual appeal. This genuine apparel comes with an authentication letter from Bill Chan, expert in the field.
