Assembled is a lot of (28) different 1940s and 1950s movie lobby cards. Several of these advertisements feature professional athletes and/or sports themes. These sports-related lobby cards include (8) “Big Leaguer” (1953, baseball, EX to EX-MT), “King of the Texas Rangers” (1941, Sammy Baugh, EX/EX-MT), “Manhattan Merry-Go-Round” (1937, Joe DiMaggio, EX-MT), (8) “Rhubarb” (1951, baseball, EX to EX-MT) and (7) “The Winning Team” (1952, Ronald Reagan, baseball, EX to EX-MT). Other pieces include "Broadway Bill" (1934, EX/EX-MT), "Everyman’s Law" (1936 with original paper envelope, EX) and "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" (1941, VG-EX/EX). The lobby cards in this mid-grade lot have several detractions consistent with pieces from this era, such as pinholes, slight to moderately worn corners and edges and moderate toning. The “Broadway Bill,” “King of the Texas Rangers” and “Manhattan Merry-Go-Round” have been presented in attractive frames.
