Offered is a pair of Carl Horner cabinets of Ed Konetchy of the Cardinals and Johnny Lush of the Phillies. Lush played in Philadelphia from 1904 until 1907, while Konetchy came into the league with the Cardinals in 1907, thus dating these beautiful relics. The sharp black and white portraits are mounted to a cabinet back measuring 4-5/8 x 8-1/2, while the actual portraits measure 3-1/8 x 5-1/2 with the Lush cabinet stamped with Horner, Boston in the lower right corner. The reverses of each display a 1996 Original Baseball Magazine Christie's hologram. There is a hand-painted border around each image and the players' name in ink at the base of the portrait. Overall grade for both Horner cabinets is (EX).
