Though they fell short to the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series, the 1964 New York Yankees squad featured an array of Hall of Famers and well-known players. Presented is a lovely Official Pacific League Dewey Soriano (Pres.) ball signed by (23) members, highlighted by an early sweet spot signature from Mantle (d.1995, 7). Signatures average (6-7) on a baseball that rates a (7). Other signatures include Sweet Spot: Berra; West Panel: Boyer (d.2007), E. Howard (d.1980), Spud Murray (coach), Linz, Hamilton (d.1997); East: Stafford (d.2001), Maris (d.1985, 6-7), Downing, Bouton, Lopez; South: Kubek, Gonzalez, Pepitone, Richardson, one unidentified; North: Dickey (d.1993), Moore, Ford, Tresh, Mikkelson; and Reverse Sweet Spot: Terry. Accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA, this lovely baseball with period Mantle, Maris and Howard signatures will make a superb addition to any Yankees or team-ball collection.
