Description

Offered is a 1989 Perez-Steele Celebration set with (37) autographs and the complete 1988 Hartland Statue edition. The postcard set is housed in a sturdy leather box with an interesting color image of early ball players and a 12-page heavyweight paper book featuring the artwork. This set has (37/44) cards signed, highlighted by Aaron, Banks, Bench, Berra, Chandler (d.1991), Dandridge (d.1994), Dickey (d.1993), Ferrell (d.1995), Gehringer (d.1993), Herman (d.1992), Hunter (d.1999), Leonard (d.1997), Mantle (d.1995), E. Mathews (d.2001), Mize (d.1993), Musial, Reese (d.1989), Sewell (d.1990), Spahn (d.2003), T. Williams (d.2002) and Yastrzemski. The signatures of each card grade in the (9-10) range and are serially numbered (#3235/10000). Also present are Perez-Steele Great Moments series 7 and 8 sets (#/2310) with a signed #75 Kiner (9) and the Master Works series 1 and 2 sets (both NM-MT, #/4206). Additionally there is the 1988 Hartland Twentieth Anniversary Figurines Complete Set: (18 figurines) with Aaron, Aparicio, Banks, Berra, Colavito, Drysdale, Fox, Groat, Killebrew, Mantle, Maris, Mathews, Mays, Musial, Ruth, Snider, Spahn and T.
