The silver anniversary of the Midsummer Classic took place at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium in 1958. The American League proved victorious, 4-3, in a game marked by spectacular pitching performances. This trio of 1958 All-Star Game mementos includes a pair of scroll roster pennants from each league and a press pin. Included are 1.) American League purple felt with yellow tassels measuring approximately 29-1/4” in length. This pennant has only a pair of pinholes on the outer edge and a relatively sharp tip. The multi-colored logo and white lettering are crisp and intact; 2.) National League red felt with yellow tassels measuring approximately 29” in length. This artifact is also detracted by a pair of pinholes and appears quite nicely with vibrant and intact white lettering; 3.) 1958 Baltimore Orioles All-Star game press pin. The pin back grades (VG-EX) with minor oxidation on the reverse. All pennants display the star-studded lineups of their respective leagues and are impressive display pieces.
