Description

Offered is a 1940s Brooklyn Dodgers game worn cap with incredible eye appeal plus the ever popular Rempel Rubber “Dem Bums” squeak toy. Although there is no identifiable player associated with the hat, this apparel displays all the earmarks of “a gamer”. The blue bill and body reveal moderate game usage, while the bill insert is moderately cracked but does not protrude the surface. Additionally, the embroidered team logo is mostly clean and only lightly frayed. The leather sweatband is also moderately frayed and cracked, while the Coane tagging is clean and intact. All other stitching is mostly tight. The 1950s Rempel Rubber squeak toy is one of the more popular items associated with the old Brooklyn club, and this relic is in EX to EX-MT condition. The squeak function still works. This hat and toy from a bygone franchise is perfect for devotees of “Dem Bums”.
