Hazen Shirley Cuyler, known to most baseball fans as Kiki, was a scrappy hitter with outstanding speed that broke into the Big Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1921 at the dawn of the homerun era. It was not until 1923 that Cuyler began to see significant playing time, and the offered Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger bat is from this early portion of his Hall of Fame career. The labeling period dates this pre-model number lumber to 1923-25, and the bat shows medium to heavy game usage. Prominent balls marks are visible throughout the barrel as well as cleat marks the barrel. The bat is made of white ash, weights 35.1 ounces and is 35-3/4 in length with a standard finish. This highly desirable rookie era Cuyler bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and has been graded a PSA GU8.
